My story

Blandine Koukoui

Togo is one of my countries of origin because I am also from Benin.
Togo and Benin are border countries located in West Africa.

These two African countries are like “the belly of Africa”, because we eat very well and healthily there. The diet being mainly made up of vegetables and fruits, as well as fish, much less meat.

In Togo and Benin, we live mainly from food crops, we produce what we consume. We were therefore already consuming organic, even 100% natural, before the current craze for organic.

I am from Africa, and I am also French. My heritage is also multiculturalism. I have always loved to cook. When I cook, I like to introduce my culinary culture to my friends.

Being settled in Bordeaux for my studies, it pushed my desire for independence, autonomy. When the opportunity arose, I left Lyon, my childhood city.

I said to myself “it’s now or never”.

In the process, I decided to create my brand of cookies !
**Les Kroustillons de B**

Les Kroustillons de B: the concept

The Les Kroustillons de B project is an idea that came naturally to me because I think we cook well in my family (laughing). I am passionate about cooking and I have always wanted to introduce my African culinary culture to my friends, with the desire to make our African cuisine attractive. African culinary culture is still relatively unknown to the world, so it is time to introduce it to the world.

LKDB’s Kroustillons are biscuits, appetizers to eat at any time of the day: in the morning with a little tea or coffee or even in the afternoon as a snack…it’s really delicious (laughing).
